New Projector Appeal
Thanks to our supporters’ generous donations, we were able to relaunch in October 2024. We now face another challenge. Our prolonged closure prior to our reopening in October 2024 has left our projection equipment in vital need of an upgrade.
On Friday 31 January 2025 our projector failed for the second time. We can temporarily fix the issue, but to continue bringing great independent films to Stoke, we need to replace it as soon as possible.
Although we have recently applied for several capital grants, we have yet to secure funding.
We now face another challenge in finding further financial help to raise the money for a new projector which costs in the region of £30,000. This investment will hopefully secure the future of the Film Theatre, ensuring we can continue screening films that inspire, entertain, and bring our community together.
World class films at only £6 per person (£5 concessions).
More local films from Ray Johnson's Staffordshire Film Archives. Seats are free and are on a first come, first served basis.
We are very excited to announce that we have produced a book, entitled 'Film in North Staffordshire'. More details are available here
The University has now added a fee to Saturday parking.
